Eid in the CCU? Mohammed's Story
Mohammed has definitely planned a lot for Eid, but spending it in the hospital and celebrating with the health care workers rather than his family members. His Coronary Angiogram showed blocked arteries which needed Angioplasty vs.Surgery. His medical condition kept fluctuating with different treatment modalities.
Regardless of the news which is considered sad, he was communicating with everyone as his own family. Smiling and joking didn't stop unless he was asleep. His family brought him traditional Eid food to mimic the Eid spirits at home.
Mohammed was discharged later on with same fascinating smile and prayers to the team who took care of him.
