Bayt Greiza is considered one of the Sultanate of Oman’s most beautiful heritage sites. The rulers of the Al Busaid dynasty made it their palace when Muscat became the capital of the country. Sayyid Sultan bin Ahmed was the last person to reside in Bayt Greiza during the period (1215 - 1208 AH 11800-1792 AD).
